I play piano. I have completed both classical practical & theory in Grade 8. I also did Associate Board of Royal School of Music Diploma in Teaching. I’m a gifted piano teacher in both classical and contemporary improvisation. Teaching is my passion.
I’ve been playing contemporary improvisation and keyboard in church band for nearly 10 years. I do a bit of composition and teaching material. I enjoy composing teaching material & also music arrangement.
1. I’m interested on both jazz and classical music.
2. I love education, composition, and also improvisation.
3. I would also like to deepen my skills.
My questions are..
1. Should I continue study what I’ve done in my Diploma?
2. Or go further study on performance instead?
3. Can I still be a teacher if I study performance or composition?
4. How do I know which is the best suit for me to study in Uni?
5. Does anyone know a course that have all the mentioned above? And schools in Melbourne? Many thanks
Bernard
