A Radio Receiver for Live Music this Christmas

I have an old aunt who is my favorite and closest among my aunts. She is already 60 years old and began living in our house about three years ago since the death of her husband. Her children have their own families already. There are only few people in my family so I offered her to stay with us. I was glad she and her family agreed.

There are few times she will visit her children and grandchildren but only for a day or two. She likes in a more peaceful atmosphere so she will call me to fetch her instead. Her children were thankful because I have the time and patience to take care of her.  She is considered as a mother to me. She was always helpful in the house. My two kids like her too. I don’t see any problem about her.

In appreciation to her concern and love to my family, I planned to give her a satellite radio wherein she can listen and store her favorite songs. She would like to turn on the radio and listen to 70’s and 80’s songs. Frank Sinatra is one of the legendary musicians she likes to hear most of the time. She has collected lots of classic songs but we don’t have a CD player for the old disks. That’s why I bought a satellite radio for her because we can purchase classic songs from Napster.

The satellite radio I’ve bought for her is the Pioneer GEX-INNO2BK Inno 2 Portable XM Satellite Radio. This satellite radio is compatible with MP3 and WMA audio files. When I discovered the satellite radio on the net, I had good time reading the features. Inno satellite radio has 1 GB storage that allows a 50-hour of music playing. Then on a single charge only, one can listen to any songs for 15 hours or 5 hours live XM radio. Inno also has a 1.7-inch full-color TFT LCD display with a 180 x 180 pixel resolution. I thought my aunt would surely love this satellite radio so I tried to buy one online the same day.

My aunt was thankful when I gave her the Inno satellite radio. She listened to songs more than her usual 2 hours of music playing. Every time she cleans up the house or doing any house works, she will tune-in to live XM radio.

One reason why I bought the Inno was because my children would not like to listen to Frank Sinatra’s songs or other classic songs. I find this very hilarious. My kids would go to their room and will never come out until their aunt stops playing the music. But when the Inno was delivered, my children wouldn’t mind if my aunt likes to listen to classic songs. My aunt would just wear the earphone and she can listen to her favorite songs for hours without bothering the children. My kids were very happy and grateful that I’ve finally made a solution regarding this one. But I told them that no matter what, they should continue to love and support their aunt like I do. They both agreed.
